Find a personal trainer

One short form. We aim to pass your request to a local personal trainer within one business day. There is no cost, no obligation and no need to tell us anything about your health.

Your enquiry

AimFit is an independent referral service. We collect your details to pass your request to one local business, who will contact you about it. We only email you tips if you tick that box (unsubscribe at any time) and we never sell your details. See our privacy policy to learn how to access or correct your details.

Before you send: AimFit is an independent referral service, not a personal trainer. Your enquiry is passed to one local trainer, and this notice explains how your details are looked after along the way.

Your details and this form

Australian Privacy Principle 5 asks us to tell you a few things at the point we collect your information. Here they are, in plain words.

Who is collecting it. AimFit, at aimfit.com.au, is a service operated by Uplinkd Group Pty Ltd. Questions about your information can go to hello@aimfit.com.au.

What goes into your enquiry. Whatever you enter: name, phone, email, where you live (suburb or town, plus state), the type of training that interests you, your main goal, how experienced you are, any preferred times and any extra notes. At the moment you press send, the site also notes the date and time, which page the form was on and that you agreed to the referral.

Please leave health out. The form has no health questions and we would rather you did not mention injuries, conditions or medication in your notes either. Keep that for your GP and, if you choose, your trainer.

What it is used for. Getting your enquiry to a local personal trainer who can reply to it, and checking in about that enquiry afterwards. Tick the training tips box and we will also email you the odd tip; one click unsubscribes you.

Do you have to give it? Legally, no. Nothing in Australian law compels you to fill in this form.

Leaving things blank. A trainer needs some way to reach you and a rough idea of where you are, so without contact details and your suburb or town and state the enquiry cannot go anywhere. Goal, experience and times are up to you. Skipping them simply means the trainer starts the conversation with less to work from.

Where it goes. To one personal trainer covering your area, who may pay AimFit for the referral. The company that hosts this site and the service that sends our emails handle it too, purely so those things work. Beyond that it is shared only when a law requires or authorises us to.

Outside Australia. This site is hosted with DigitalOcean on servers located in the United States and is served through Cloudflare's network, which can route data through other countries. Emails go out through Brevo, which is based in the European Union.

Seeing, fixing or complaining. To get a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or raise a concern (including with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner), follow the steps in our privacy policy.
